Every month, The Big Project reviews two
or three projects in detail by speaking to the architects and
masterplanners. It also looks at regional and international trends
in architecture and design and developments in the property boom.
Till date, cover features have included sustainable projects, such
as Saadiyat Island, King Abdullah Economic City, Bahrain Bay, Dubai
World Central, Qatar Energy City, Dongtan, the Masdar development,
Lavasa and the King Abdullah Financial District.
Each month, The Big Project has a country
focus. It looks at a building type or project and
construction-related subjects, such as project management, fire
safety engineering, smart buildings and weatherproofing.
The Big Project also features construction case
studies, innovative solutions to design, regional perspectives from
trade bodies and institutions, and best practice issues.
We showcase the crème-de-la-crème of the practice from the Middle
East and Northern Africa regions, in particular, and the
international markets, in general.
MISSION
The Big Project functions as an
instrument of change for architects and property developers,
highlighting
their problems and finding common workable solutions.
